YUKO NAKAMURA 
began her ballet training at the age of seven in Kyushu, Japan. She joined Yokose Saburo ballet company, Tokyo, in 1987 until 1989. Following her journey for more training in different styles, she went to United States to continue her professional ballet training on a

scholarship at the school of San Francisco Ballet, and, spent seven years performing with San Francisco Ballet, Oakland ballet and Pacific Dance Theater Company as principle. She has settled down in Bangkok after her married since 1997 and performed many leading roles in full length of production for Rising Star Dance Studio. She also teaches adults and children as a main teacher and associates director. She has been an active member of BCB since 2001 and performed many leading roles as a principle dancer; “Queen of the Dream (Don Quixote 2001)”, “Lilac Fairy”, “Blue Bird Grand Pas de Deux (Sleeping Beauty 2001)”, “The Nutcracker” (Reed Flutes 2003), “Reverse” by Ricky Sim (2004)”, “Tchaikovsky Grand Pas de Deux (2004)”, “La Bayadee (2005)”, “If” by Cheng Hsienfa (2006), “Paguita” (2007), “Gyurinara Grand Pas de Deux (The corsair 2008)”, “Gypsy Friend” (Romeo and Juilet 2008), “The Games People Play” by Jie Choong Wan-Chin (2009), “Sleeping Beauty Grand Pas de Deux Act 3 (2010)”, “Raymonda Act 3”, “Swanilda” (Coppelia 2012)”, “The Snow Queen” (The Nutcracker 2012), “Lead Sylph” (la Sylphide 2013), “Aurora Act 2” (2014). In 2017, She was appointed as Ballet Mistress at BCB. She plays an important role in contributing the dance techniques and coaching the company members to learn and grow as professional artists and performers.
